John Joy

John Joy was born in Toronto in 1925, where he studied at Central Technical School, and later at the Ontario College of Art. Painting en plien air, John easily maintains the integrity and brilliance of the landscapes and village scenes he so often depicts. He has distinguished himself as an artist as much for his use of colour as for his recording of historical buildings, long since gone.
